That's quite shocking. My EV6 gets 3.5mi/kWh at 65mph even on hilly freeways. Even driving in sport mode at 85+ mph and going up in elevation over the trip, I've never gotten below 2.5.
I agree 1000%. Large wheels with low profile tires are worse for EV range and hurt ride quality. They exist solely for appearance and I want nothing to do with them.
Honestly, for people that do a lot of longer drives (me), both things are important. Range is the difference between stopping every 90 minutes vs stopping every 120 minutes. Charging speed is the difference between those stops being 15-25 minutes vs 30-40 minutes.
