Agreed. Plus the hatch I showed looks cool. Sounds like making these affordable EVs cool looking is important to them. Farley said in the past they would be emotional products, and that they weren't gonna look like toasters on wheels. So that has me excited.

To be fair, they aren't bad looking. I personally believe the ugliest truck ever made is the 2024 ram 2500 Cummins. Particularly in white.

Pretty close, I've been told the blue rendering is the most accurate so far. The silver rendering shows the shorter hood well, but it angles down which that rendering doesn't.

People who saw it said it looked more like something you'd see from Kia or Hyundai. Which isn't a bad thing considering those brands have been knocking it out of the park with a lot of their latest designs.

I understand why they didn't, but part of me wishes they had gone with the bolder coupe ute look of that sketch. Anyone one the Blue oval forums knows I want Ford to make a coupe styled ute. But I can admit, it would be a more niche product than something that looked more conventional.

The rendering front end isn't accurate regarding the light design.

There's strong speculation that Ford is teasing the mid-gate in the vid they used to reveal the fathom name. Ford employees have said the vid has a lot of Easter eggs. You can see long objects in the bed like surfboards and lumber that seem to be hinting at said midgate.

As a proud maverick owner this is my response to that.

This is the front of the fathom. Body color front with no light bar or fake grille. You can see a portion of how the front and hood is angling up away from the front fascia as it runs backwards.

I think when he says it's bigger, he's saying the interior space is bigger than a mav, not that the overall truck is bigger. Because we know the fathom is gonna have a shorter hood with a larger cab than mav.

I think fathom is smaller than maverick. But has more interior space. We've seen the real world mules, it looks about the same length as mav, but lower, more like a ute. So smaller, but more space.

As my boy Tbuz said, those door handles are fake. It'll have mach-e door handles which I don't mind and which are superior to pop out door handles.

Agreed. I genuinely hope Ford keeps the color around for a long time, it's just a really great hue. Kinda like some other colors like grabber blue have stuck around for awhile.

I'd love to see Adriatic Blue make an appearance, that's Ford's best color currently. But I don't see it happening.
