I think I figured out 3555. The address of Ford's EV DC is 3555 E Conant St, Long Beach, CA 90808.

There’s no way those will be the colors imo. That would alienate a good portion of potential buyers.

A reliable source says those are indeed three of the colors that will be available. Not the only three.....but three of the who knows how many (probably 6 or 8) total colors.

They even have "names" for them. They have not been used on any other Ford in the past and are "new".

that’s crazy if true. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say bringing back pastel colors is a good idea . I would have assumed a more Tesla like approach, 3-4 colors on lower trims and a few additional for the upper trims, all relatively safe colors.

Have you walked around Target? Pastel appears to be the "in" thing right now. That's why I'm terrified those are the only options. I need a bold blue, not a pastel one.

I have a White Maverick, White KingRanch F150, White Sierra EV Denali, White Transit passenger van, and had a White Mach-E.

I'm just guessing, but I bet they have a color choice I will be happy with.

It depends on the execution. My area 51 mav is pastel and the color looks stunning in some lighting. Usually with overcast when it develops this really strong tealish look.

Can't say. I know that is super lame. But it is true. Gotta just trust me for now! Or not. I won't be offended. But I'm sure when details are released these will be three of the colors.

Area 51 is a great color and it will probably be one of the best sellers. The other two, not so much. I guess they aren’t any worse than cyber orange/orange fury on the maverick. Let’s just hope those don’t carry over to the interior.

Here’s a screen shot from the beginning of the video. Maybe colored pencils are all the colors offered. So you have the 3 pastels, and a gray, white and black.

I waited until I was in my 40s to finally get the blue truck I've wanted since I was a child. I need a true blue-to-dark-blue option, or I just won't bite.

If the pastels are designed to appeal to women, then that's fine. My wife and daughter love the baby blue option on the Maverick, but my son and I are not. So I am willing to admit I am not the target consumer.

I am also not opposed to a little color on our streets. Most parking lots look devoid of color that my blue Maverick stands out. Those three color options are fine if there are others. I'm over the monochromatic traffic jams.

I'll just put it like this: of all of the CyberTrucks in my city, 90% of them are wrapped. None of them are pastel. I'm simply worried Ford may go all in on a unique color palette and mistake consumer avoidance of those colors for consumer avoidance of the model. This is a very risky model to release. It is best to reduce the number of variables.

I had two Cactus Grey Mavericks..... Might be going back to that if that is my best option!

I don't know.
If Ford hadn't sat down at the Pre-Covid Tesla bar, and got drunk on the early EV wine that the whole world was slugging down with them, this little truck wouldn't be risky at all. Billion$ spent and flushed, that has nothing to do with this UEV venture.

Or put another way, too bad the Fathom is carrying the historical baggage on its shoulders that it does. Imagine how different it would be for Ford, if this was their first American made EV.
