I gotta admit that I much prefer the cowboy browns/tans that my KingRanch uses, over the executive/blacks of a Platinum, or my Denali Sierra.

So I'm with you! Can we have a choice, at least?
I really like the blue in my Bronco Sport. When I saw the pictures in the brochures, it didn't look good to me but when I saw it for real I loved it.

I’m dropping intro this thread after 11 pages, so maybe it’s been mentioned, but…

I want really good route planning. To me, that means:
  • The consumption math includes constants that the driver cannot control like weather (temperature, wind speed and direction, for example) and topography (hills, valleys…)
  • The consumption math allows variables like speed (I can slow down and go further)
  • The app in my pocket (phone) is in communication with the route planner to say things like “leave now to stay with current plan” and “it’s lunchtime, if you go to the nearby Denny’s/Tim Horton’s/Cava, and get lunch, you can keep charging if you like and skip your next stop.”
  • Some economic controls: “find me the cheapest charging near my next calculated stop, and I’m willing to sacrifice speed because I’m eating lunch…” or, “the car saying “if you left earlier, you’d get better advantage of time of use charging.”
  • Route simulation like ABRP: wife asks, “I’m going to visit my sister tomorrow… what’s that route like?” Of courseit will be different the next day, but the wife is just asking for general forecasting.
  • Charger availability and price calculations. “We estimate that this route will cost you about…. In total and …. Per mile.” And, “the chargers on this route have historically been reliable according to PlugShare…”
  • Preferred networks: I have a membership with Y network, please prefer them. This could also affect pricing. Or, “I prefer Ionna because I can reliably use a credit card. I’m not a member, but I do like the fact that I pay for electricity like I pay for hydrocarbons.”
