Fathom sighting in Maverick / Mach-E drive by video

Took some screen shots from the video and asked Claude to use the diensions for the maverick to determine the size of the fathom. These were the dimensions using pixels that Claude calculated.

Had Claude look at the bed to body ratio on the maverick and estimate bed length. This is all speculation, done from two screen shots. Just sharing for fun. The length and height are a little more sound from calculations.

Are you sure Claude knew which one was which? In those pictures, the Maverick sure looks to be the shorter of the two. Eyeballing it I'd guess the Fathom is 8-10" longer than the Maverick.

I am hoping the bed dimensions match the Maverick. So many of us have Maverick sized tonneau covers, bed rails, ladder racks, etc... It would be a shame if they changed the bed dimensions by an inch or two, requiring aftermarket companies to design, produce, and then sell all this stuff just for the Fathom. I mean.....I'll buy it all again if I have to, but I would much rather move my cover and rails and all that right from the Maverick to the Fathom.

Dark car was the maverick. Fathom is slightly shorter than maverick. I used separate screenshots of the maverick and fathom for the analysis by Claude, not the overlay.

I do agree that the dark truck is the Maverick.

in this type of analysis, I really don't know if the screen shots were the same distance from the camera, so that alone could create a difference in the reference values. You may be right, the maverick may be shorter if the maverick was farther away from the camera during that screen shot. i would not place myself in defending the calculation by Claude, just thought i would share it. you can feel that the two vehicles are close to the same length however. the bed height could be disguised on the Fathom, I don't think the length can be disguised. Could be wrong, the hood could be faking us out for more than the slant of the frunk. when I looked at the video that was the man attaching the front section to the midsection, the slant on the frunk matched the windshield. you can observe than when he is bolting them together.

I've been waiting for a Maverick sized EV, hopefully in a few months we'll have some real specs and uncamouflaged pictures.
