Is this the list from the Fathom website shown below?

Sorry if this is well known already. Article was very click baity. But there had been a lull of Fathom info lately and this got me hopeful for anything new.

Yep. If you give them your info, you will essentially be signed up for a mailing list.

Yes. Since the Fathom was announced a few months ago. I signed up on August 10th.

Yeah, I think it just lets your local dealership call you so you can place the reservation when the system opens. Your order is still likely to be limited by dealership allocations. The pre-order allocations will likely be based on a combination of Mach-E and Maverick sales.

Along with signing up on the Ford Fathom page I contacted my dealership with my interest that I will order the Fathom with them as soon as the order banks open.

I received Ford's response: "You’re on the list." on 8/12/2026.

and from my dealer: "Thanks for reaching out. I have you on my list of people that want to order it when available." on 8/28/2026.

Hopefully being on these lists will speed up the order process for me as I expect that it will be somewhat chaotic when ordering happens.

I purchased both the MY22 and MY23 Mavericks from them at MSRP with no dealer add ons. I expect the same for the Fathom.

Yeah, it has been out for months. I filled it out day one. Holding my breath on when I will actually see a Ford Fathom in my Driveway. I am foregoing the Slate and getting the Fathom. I need the 4 doors.

I will say that their "sign up" system is either glitchy, or they are being smart and checking IP addresses or matching names to zip codes before adding people to the list.

When I first tried to sign up in August, I didn't get any sort of confirmation email. I tried again a few days later and did get an email on my second try.

Since my wife is also interested, I tried to sign her up yesterday using her name and email, but the same zip code that I had used. We have the same uncommon last name. No confirmation email......so this morning I tested it again with her name, a Gmail email address we use for a side business, and a slightly different (but still valid) Zip code. No email.....yet. And it has been a few hours. I do wonder if they are filtering out submissions based on IP address or other geo-location data. Doesn't really matter in the long run, but does make me wonder how robust their "sign up" system is.

On the list, no updates from Ford or the dealership. Farley was forecasting late 2026, now early 2027. I’m a little dissappointed with the current situation. A mid $30,000 purchase commitment with no specifications released within 60 days of ordering, no releases of trims, options, or initial shipments of vehicles to examine at dealer lots before a preorder seems remiss. It does not change my interest in the vehicle. Just seems like an unnessecary delay unless they are having manufacturing issues.

I signed up more than once, as after reading this I realized I never go any sort of acknowledgement email. Still have not gotten one. Is that part of the process or is the "you are on the list" splash screen all we get?

You should get an actual email. Not immediately for sure. There is a significant delay before the email comes in. Like.....multiple days delay.

The email subject line is "You’re in!".

The body of the email is....

You’re on the list.

I commented earlier in this thread that I had tried with various name/email/zip code combos and that I did not get an email for any of them. Well......they slowly tricked in over the following days. Seems the average wait time was about 48 hours. So I am on the list 3 or 4 times now. Haha.
