90 Day Trial for $30K. Get a 1 Year or One-Time option as stand alone option.
Yes, this is what I was thinking too!

Ford started doing that with '23 Job 2 Mach E to lower the price point and remove other standard equipment.

I got the last of the '23 Job 1 with 3 years BC included, but it was baked into the cost....

I had BlueCruise in my Lightning. To me it was 100% gimmick. So I can lay my hands in my lap. OK... it's just as easy to lay them on the steering wheel.

I'd rather shave thousands off the cost of these trucks and do without these useless gimmicks which double as privacy intrusions.

For me, BlueCruise is a workload saver for my body - similar to flying planes with auto trim and auto pilot.

Instead of manually steering, BlueCruise does it for me on long trips and it shows when I arrive - my body is less stressed, back feels good, less tired and arms & legs feels good.

Can't imagine driving long distances without BC.

BC was great on long trips. The only thing though is the eye detection: the sensors are on the steering column. If you are drinking coffee or water, you have to take quick sips because the 5s timeout is too short. Top-mounted cameras would have been better.

I've come to appreciate the Mav's ADAS for my daily commute. It turns out that there's so much debris on the road that I have to pilot the truck around things all of the time. And because there's enough zones where traffic comes to a standstill, I end up having to manually brake anyways.

Anyways I hope the BC focus cameras are in a better spot and/or the timeout is longer in the Fathom.

You have to manually break with BC in a fast stop? Our EV6 with HDA1 will come to a complete stop even in very hard breaking. It is unnerving if the follow distance is set to the shortest, but is just fine when it’s set to the longest distance.

It’s hard to watch as the car hurtles ahead toward stopped traffic, but if I intervene then I lose the advantage of stop and go through the traffic jam.

I’m really hoping that the Ford L3 looks further ahead and sees the stopped traffic and starts slowing down before it hits the follow distance.
