If you are taking notes Riley, I will say what dozens of us have been saying about the Maverick since 2022. A 60/40 split rear seat so underseat storage can still be accessed without removing baby/toddler/young kid carseats/booster seats. Or a 50/50 split. Or whatever. I know it will have already been decided what the second row seating will look like, and there is zero chance my comment makes it change, but I will keep saying it. Maybe for the Fathom 2032 refresh or something. ;)

Please take note of the idiocy of vehicle manufacturers putting "premium" low profile wheels and tires on top-level trims, which ruin the ride and comfort, cost extra $,$$$, look like crap, have no business being on a truck or ANY vehicle that's not on a race track, and are just waiting to get bent on this country's <s> excellent, smooth paved highways and byways. </s>

Did I mention how much a fr#*($ing HATE low profile tires?

If your FORD beancounters insist on adding them to the marketing BS, at least make them OPTIONAL and not standard on all trims, or maybe a DELETE option... just SOMETHING to avoid them for all of us with a brain who understand that the best EVs have proper EV tires.

Oh you'd have a cow if.......

Thank goodness for Active Air Suspension and multiple dampening settings, along with a MONSTER sized battery, because GM, in their infinite wisdom, equipped the electric pickup truck with 35's! And on 24" wheels 😳

My feakin Ioniq 6 limited AWD with the long-range battery has stupid, stupid, stupid very low profiles. I'm just waiting for a Memphis pothole to put me on side of the road. I'd much prefer the proper wheels and tires that came with the lower trim levels, but the LIMITED trim has this crap.

Our 25 Mav Lariat Hybrid also has lowish profile tires, but not as bad as the Hyundai...

Things I am willing to pay for over MSRP on my Fathom if possible. 2" receiver hitch. Pro Power, Larger battery 300 miles or over. AWD. Full size spare. Keypad entry.

Living in Florida I hope they do not shrink the Frunk with a heat pump. I hope the truck can be AWD or RWD if not.

I took a closer look at the wheels and tires in the spy photos and it looks like they have a pretty decent amount of sidewall, at least as much as my Fusion. I wouldn't consider them "low profile". The one caught by Autopian in CA appears to have four spoke wheel covers while the one in Michigan looks like it's got alloys.

I agree the spy photo shots are okay, but l am afraid that Ford will do what they did with the Mav: stick low profile tires on the higher trim level. I'm guessing I'd be most interested in an optioned-out Fathom over a based model (4K tow / AWD / bed liner / adaptive cruise / heated-ventilated seats / heated wheel & mirrors / 360 surround camera view / light (not BLACK) interior color / homelink mirror and full safety suite.) - Of course if all of that is available on a base trim, I'm golden :) but I sure hate if Ford bundles crappy low-profile tires along with all the extra good stuff.

Yah, you seem to like the Platinum trim which comes with the larger 22" wheels but thinner tires.

I prefer the thicker rubber on 18 or 19" wheels...

I didn’t even think to say something. Riley, we want an interior that isn’t black. I’ll take gray, tan, sand, brown. Anything but black. Well maybe not red. We spent an extra $3000 over other models on our used EV6 because it was the only one we could find with a tan interior.

Agree - I had to special order my Mach E with light gray (off white) interior.

Worth the 14 month wait for the custom built Space White w/ light gray interior that the dealer said was rare to see configured that way.

I hate black interiors - it's hot (I live in sunny So Calif) and feels like a coffin at night. :CWL:

Here. Let me bold it so Ford doesn't miss this.

The keypad is quintessential Ford, and I cannot explain how convenient it is to have it built in.

100% Agreed here. But something I've noticed in the spy shots is that the headliner and pillar trim appears to be a light color. If the seats MUST be black that helps immensely.
