FWIW the 63 kWh is what SLATE is saying is the usable capacity... the actually battery spec is 65 kWh total; if you believe google.Yes, real world data is definitely needed.
Remember, EV battery capacity never reaches 100% full charge or 0% discharge.
Due to SOC buffers built in to protect the cells, the vehicle will never get to use 100% of the battery.
Theoretically, my 72kWh battery in my Mach E, with 230 mile range it should get 3.2 mi/kWh but not even close due to the SOC buffers on both ends.
In real life, it's a lot less.
